Take a look at World of Warcraft: Bloodsworn comic preview art

If you like orcs getting stabbed in the neck with broken-off wooden objects (and who could blame you, really?), then the promotional art for the new World of Warcraft: Bloodsworn comic should be for you. Artist Jeremy Raapack put up two pages of promo art on his blog, talking about the reveal of the comic at SDCC. So far, it’s looking pretty sweet, and Bloodsworn should definitely focus more on the Horde side of things than the original comic series did.
I have to say I really enjoy this picture of a troll from the comic. Granted, I can’t tell the story from these two pages at all, but the art’s solid and I’ll give it a chance for that reason alone.

Curse of the Worgen #4 on sale now online and at comic stores

Gilneas City erupts into violence as the worgen attack! During the madness, Halford seeks understanding behind who is friend and who is foe, while also dealing with his own animalistic worgen urge to kill. In desperation, King Greymane forms an unlikely alliance…
The World of Warcraft comic miniseries Curse of the Worgen is nearly at the end of its five-issue run. Issue #4 is now available for purchase both online and at your favorite local comic shop. The five-part series, written by Micky Neilson and James Waugh with artwork by Ludo Lullabi and Tony Washington, details the origins of Gilneas and the worgen curse in a way that the worgen starting zone can’t even begin to encompass.
If you have not picked up this series, I highly recommend it — the artwork is stunning, and the story is one of the best put out by the Warcraft comics team to date. If you’re a fan of the worgen in Warcraft, this series is a must-read.

The Guild ends the year with DVD release and new comic

The iTunes release is available in both standard and HD versions. An iTunes exclusive bonus feature, The Making of the Team Cawkes Painting, is included when you purchase the entire season. The Season 4 DVD is .99 on Amazon; the iTunes version is only .99 for HD, or .99 for standard edition.
And if you happen to be looking for something to read rather than something to watch, The Guild has also released a new one-shot comic titled Vork. Written by Day and actor Jeff Lewis, who plays Vork in the series, this comic centers around Vork and his role within both the game world and real life. As with all Guild comics, the story takes place before the events in Season 1 of The Guild. The comic’s only .50 from Dark Horse, and you can choose one of two variant covers: Darick Robinson’s gladiatorial version of Vork, or the more simplistic, real-life Vork styling of Gilbert Hernandez.
For more on The Guild, you can check out the entire series on MSN.
