How to look like a priest with transmogrification (even if you're actually a mage)
Joystiq This iconic archetype exists in World of Warcraft as well, manifesting in the form of inspiring heroes like Tyrande Whisperwind or Prophet Velen. Want to follow in their footsteps? Well, you'll have to roll a priest … At least, that's what you had to … |

Around Azeroth: Not even close to the coolest Time Lord
“The end of End Time still makes me shed a small tear for Nozzie,” writes Halrandir of Midnight Cartel on Elune (US-A). “I’m fairly certain that for all his ‘the future is muddied and muddled and I can’t see what’s going to happen, it’s all up to the play — I mean, the champions now’ talk, he knows all along exactly what is going to happen to all the Aspects. Heck, he knows the circumstances of his own death, and they happen in a time line that doesn’t exist. At least Cassandra only had her loved ones and her life hurt by her predictions. Nozdormu knows the downfall of the entire world, and now he can’t do all that much to assist in stopping it.”

Darkmoon artifacts will drop even when there is no Faire

Bashiok has provided further clarification on the Darkmoon Island artifacts that drop from dungeons, battlegrounds, and raids that are turned in for Darkmoon tickets — these will continue to drop for players who have a Darkmoon Adventurer’s Guide regardless of whether the Faire is in town. These artifacts can be saved up and turned in when the Darkmoon Island event is taking place, so don’t worry about grinding out these artifacts this week only. This makes me a very happy Faire-goer.
Darkmoon Artifacts will drop regardless of whether the faire is in townIt’s really just this first week and appearance of the faire that’s off because the Darkmoon Adventurer’s Guide wasn’t available for the 3 weeks prior. When it rolls around next month there should be better feel for how the whole system and ticket acquisition rate feels.

“China is here”? I don’t even know what the hell that means.

Which race has the best 2H weapon animations in your opinion?
Unequivocally male blood elves.

6 reasons you should care about patch 4.3, even if you don’t raid
Patch 4.3 is cruising down the lane toward us. It won’t be too much longer before we all get to update our mods and game clients, all the while cursing the inevitable server interruptions and instability. But when we weather that troubling Tuesday, we’ll all have the gift of patch 4.3 to keep us entertained for many moons.
The question is, why should non-raiders care about patch 4.3? After all, another raiding tier just isn’t exciting to folks who prefer 5-man dungeons, solo questing, and a little side PvP. The good news is that patch 4.3 contains huge stacks of cool stuff for casual players. In many ways, this new content patch is the most exciting addition to the game for non-raiders since Cataclysm itself was released.
Let’s talk about all the things patch 4.3 offers players … even if you don’t happen to raid.

WoW Moviewatch: Quest Busters, Episode 1 – Even Thieves Get Hungry
We’ve featured the AFK Players previously, but it’s been a while since we’ve heard from them. The AFK Players are well known for amazing graphics, a catchy sense of humor, and witty, strong narratives.
They’ve now released what may be one of the finest machinima videos ever created, ranking up right up there with BLIND. Does that sound like big praise? It’s meant to be. Even Mat McCurley said “Like, this is too good.” Quest Busters has it all; absolutely astounding graphics, great pacing, and powerful characters. The animation in the video is unbelievably good.
Tanx and Wiki instantly won my heart. The characterization and design of each character was pitch-perfect, and the animation tells you everything you need to know about their relation. The story is fun and includes one hell of a twist ending.
I fervently hope we see future episodes.

Patch 4.1: Even more new Archaeology items

The last build rolled out on the patch 4.1 PTR introduced some cool new items, but Blizzard wasn’t done there. The build rolled out today included even more! This items include:
Technically the turtle shell was in the last build, but we misinterpreted the item when we saw it on Wowhead. Our initial guess was that it would be a drop in Firelands due to a display bug giving it the Heroic label and we assumed its itemization was unfinished. However, we eventually came to the conclusion that it’s extremely likely that the shield is actually an archaeology award — it’s bind on account. It will lose its current Heroic label between now and when the patch launches.
These items are continuing Blizzard’s effort to populate neglected research types. Trolls needed a little more love beyond the endless journey to find Zin’rokh, and fossils needed even more love. An epic shield, another pet, and the other additions from previous builds will go a long way toward making fossil dig sites less … painful.
WoW Patch 4.1 is on the PTR and WoW Insider has all the latest news for you. From previews of the revamped Zul’Aman and Zul’Gurub to new Valor point mechanics to the new Archaeology items.
