I love the picture of Velen shown above for a couple of different reasons. It’s a gorgeous piece of artwork, but the bigger reason is the expression on Velen’s face — he looks mildly baffled, like he’s shrugging his shoulders and saying “Uhhhh, I don’t know!” To me, the thought of an alien over 10,000 years making that noncommittal grunt of vague confusion is just endlessly entertaining.
